USES AND APPLICATIONS
The N/HA series chamber ovens with air circulation with excellent temperature uniformity, are suitable, for example, for tempering treatments, metal hardening treatment, metal aging treatment, solubilisation, ovens for artificial heat aging or softening treatment and brazing.
Tempering is a heat treatment normally performed after quenching, with the aim of obtaining the desired hardness/toughness ratio. temperatures vary depending on the material from 150°C to over 500°C.
Quenching and tempering is a heat treatment used to obtain high hardness/strength of steel.
