USES AND APPLICATIONS
Range of furnaces for treatments on metals, typically treatments on brass, steel, etc. with which it is possible to carry out treatments of various types such as stress relieving, tempering and stabilization, with the aim of reducing the internal and residual tensions deriving from hot and cold workings, hardening treatments and mechanical workings, with temperatures ranging from about 150 °C to 500°C depending on the materials.
These furnaces are used, for example, for stress relieving treatments of brass components, with temperatures of 250-450°C, and for stress relieving treatments after welding.
Tempering is a heat treatment generally performed after quenching, with the aim of obtaining the desired hardness/toughness ratio. These ovens are suitable for treatments for temperature ranges from 150°C to 450°C.
A very common technique for assembly or disassembly operations of mechanical components and transmission parts, which consists in using the thermal expansion generated by the heat to overcome the dimensional interference of two components and create an extremely strong mechanical fit.
